Transmission Assessment Survey (TAS-III) in 14 districts of Nepal

Project Summary:
After the successful TAS II survey, TAS III survey was carried out after 2 years in these 14 districts. Students from Grade 1 and 2 from the selected clusters were tested for LF antigen by FTS. Sample was collected by pricking the finger. The result was interpreted after 10 minutes of loading the sample. The data was recorded and reported properly on both the paper form as well as electronic data capture.

Study Districts: Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Dhanusha, Sindhuli, Dhading, Nuwakot, Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Ramechhap, Palpa, Syangja, Tanahu and Gorkha
