Though there have been initiatives aiming to achieve universal access to basic health care for all, there are still disparities in health outcomes and utilization. This project was done in coordination with LCDMS/EDCD, Supported and funded by Handicap International and USAID and its aim was to explore determinants that contribute to gender inequalities in accessing rehabilitation services. This project was conducted in all seven provinces of Nepal and concurrent mixed method was applied to carry out the project; for quantitative method secondary data was collected from physical rehabilitation center and for qualitative method IDIs, FGDs and KIIs were conducted.
