Water Quality assessment in Kathmandu Valley

Summary:
This study assessed the physiochemical and bacteriological quality of water from underground and stone spout of the Kathmandu Valley. The samples were analysed for physical parameters including temperature, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), and salt content were measured. Microbiological analysis was carried out using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method and culture. Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing (AST) was performed to analyse the resistance pattern of isolated bacteria.
