Molecular Characterization of Secondary Metabolite Producing Actinomycetes Isolation from Poultry Farm Soil of Kathmandu Valley

Summary:
This research explores the potential of actinomycetes from poultry farm soil as a source of novel antibiotics to combat antimicrobial resistance. Soil samples from poultry farms in the Kathmandu Valley were collected and processed using selective media to isolate actinomycetes. Primary and secondary screenings were done to identify potential antibiotic producers, and molecular techniques including DNA extraction, PCR, and sequencing were used for further analysis.
