Enumeration, Isolation and Identification of Gram Negative Bacteria Present in Raw and Pasteurized Milk of Kathmandu Valley

Summary of the project:
This study focused on the complete analysis of raw and pasteurized milk samples collected from different sites across Kathmandu Valley, including Budhanilkantha, Thimi, Kumaripati, Lainchaur, Lagankhel, and Bhaktapur. The samples were examined for physicochemical and bacteriological quality parameters. The resistance pattern of isolated bacteria was analysed using antibiotic susceptibility tests and multidrug resistant strains were identified.
